OVERVIEW
The Global Internship is an on-the-field missions program providing participants with hands-on ministry training. This program is designed for individuals whose passion for overseas missions stretches beyond short-term trips and desire a longer-term experience.
Whether you relocate back to the States to advance the Kingdom, or serve as a long-term missionary overseas, this program is for you!
INTERNSHIP DATES
What if you could discover your calling, develop your strengths, and go deeper with God all while living in authentic community in South Africa and earning academic credit? You can! Join our Global Internship for 3, 6 or 10 months or our Summer Internship for 8 weeks. The Global Internship is available to young adults between the ages of 18-24.
10 Month Internship

Summer Internship:
Our Summer Internship is designed to provide University students with an opportunity to fulfill their internship or practicum degree requirements while serving with us in South Africa. The Summer Internship will provide you with opportunities to put your degree into action as you are placed within leadership opportunities to help host and lead short-term mission teams. The Summer Internship is available to University students and/or mature young adults between the ages of 17-24.
- 8 Weeks – June 3, 2024 to August 5, 2024 (Ages 17-24)
- Amount to be fundraised:$5,200 (includes international airfare & all fun-day activities, does not include personal spending money or incidentals. This internship option does not earn academic credit)
- 6 Months – June 3, 2024 to November 18, 2024

SCHEDULE
In an environment that’s always moving, no week will ever look the same. This is Africa! Catch a glimpse of how your time will be spent while you’re a part of the program.
Ministry Focus: During your time at the Global Internship, you will have the opportunity to experience each main area of ministry: Impact Baby Rescue, Impact Students, Impact Kids Preschools, and Evangelism/Discipleship. You will have the opportunity to minister to South Africans aging from birth to adulthood! Within each area of ministry you will be under the leadership of our local staff who will coach and provide feedback so that you learn how to effectively share your faith.
Personal & Team Development: In a typical week, you will spend one day in the office for alignment (Chapel), team meetings, and gearing up for a week of learning and ministry. Three days of the week you will rotate throughout the various ministry areas, and one day you will spend focused on kids ministry by assisting and learning from our local Teachers. Additionally, you will be taking 2-3 college level courses on Missions & Worldview, Leadership, Prayer & Fasting, Vision & Strengths, and a language class (Zulu).
